Max Makes me “Mom”

I love him more than words can express and think he has to be the coolest, most wonderful little boy that has graced the earth (besides Jesus).

My Handsome Max

I am blessed and honored to be his mommy and yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my motherhood!

Andy took Max and me out to breakfast at one of my fave places…

Our Family after breakfast at the Pancake Cafe (clearly Max was not impressed)

Breakfast was followed by a trip to the garden nursery to peruse flowers and plants for our garden…

Checking out some seeds

Next we headed to church and then headed home for the boys to take a nap! While they rested, I went outside in the incredible 70 degrees and sunny weather, spread out on a blanket and enjoyed my Bible, Journal and a little sunburn! Afterwards, I went to a coffeeshop to read by myself, grabbed some groceries, and arrived home to Andy’s prepared grilled chicken dinner (they also took advantage of the beautiful weather, played outside, and grilled out while I was away). We ate as a family and after Max went down, Andy and I capped off the night with a movie together.

All-in-all, it was a beautiful, fun-filled day and I felt loved and blessed (BONUS: I woke up this morning to fresh-picked tulips in a vase on our kitchen-table).

Best Buddies

With these two?! I had a very Happy Mother’s Day indeed!
