Food Revolution Dinner Recap

This post tucks neatly into the category of “better late than never!”

Do you remember why I started the series sharing Our {Real Food} Journey? I do…a couple weeks ago, I joined together with Cathartic Cuisine, Rawfully Wonderful, and The Ironstone Nest for our 1st (hopefully annual) Food Revolution Dinner!

We had an ENTIRELY HOMEMADE, remarkable spread of Focaccia & Crostinis, Ricotta, Bruschetta, skin-on Ocean Perch, Spinach Avocado Spread, Pasta Primavera, Spicy Mango Salsa, Raw Taco Boats and Raw Lemonade! I brought Lime-Cilantro Quinoa Salad, Mini-Veggie Fritattas, Orange Olive Oil Cake.

Cathartic Cuisine gave a perfect visual recap of our food spread here! Everything was delicious. And what makes delicious food even more wonderful? Great company…

Ellen, Derek, me and Joie brought the majority of the food - clearly we are at the Ironstone Nest!

Food Blogging at its finest!

These dynamic little duo was up to no good!

Have to throw one in of Andy and his mini-me!

…More of my lovely ladies!

The weather – perfect; the kids – outside; the food – delicious; the company – wonderful!

It was a great night and I really can’t wait to do it again next year; even bigger and better! Keep an eye out, this week, I’ll be sharing my Lime-Cilantro Quinoa Salad and Orange Olive Oil Cake recipes.
