 {Captured}: Carving the time to capture and create in picture and word.

// This about sums it up! Cal is getting into the awesome and hilarious (however challenging) stage of autonomy. He recently realized that he does not need to do everything Max is doing or tells him to do, which translates into a general questioning of authority. But there is such joy in this stage and my favorite of his independent expressions has to be his wearing whatever combination he desires & deems appropriate…rain boots, a helmet, and lets not forget the always fashionable belt necklace (much like his cape, medal, and conductor’s hat from a couple week’s ago). What in a few years would be a little eccentric, is now beautiful toddler-hood. //

    The picture is so cute, it always amazes me that no matter what is available kids can turn it into a toy and have a good time with it.

    Very CUTE !!! He reminds me of a beautiful little girl I “knew” about 28 years ago who had very similar (but the female version) fashion creativity! I LOVE IT!!
