Today is the type of day when nothing fills my heart more than my work as mommy and the kids that grant me that title!
We had such a beautiful morning: up cooking bright and early while Cal napped and Max bustled about, ran an errand, played at the park, went for a walk at the mall (to get out of the heat from playing at the park :), endured an unexpectedly pleasant Dr’s. appointment, came home for lunch, read books, sang songs, and everyone went down for naps graciously! Yesterday was the exact opposite, the boys were apparently in cahoots on boycotting their naps, so today is a blessed and wonderful way to ease into the weekend.
Here are five faves from this week:
I had not spent much time on Pinterest for a while and one night this week I made up for it…Does anyone else find this sight super funny? As I sat audibly laughing at some of those ridiculous cartoon jokes, Andy was equally entertained at just how easily entertained I am…
(A couple weekends ago, we took the kids with us on Andy’s work conference, so this was ringing especially true!)
Sleepy Tea @ The Nourished Kitchen – looks gorgeous & sounds delicious!
The Purpose of a Work Space @ The Nesting Place – Love, love, love this post! Especially when we look so often with discontent or the notion of how we thinks things should be, this offers such a refreshing perspective on what we do/don’t have and the purpose either way.
The Truth about Preschool @ Simple Homeschool – Just a great reminder not to be so preoccupied with creating elaborate techniques, but rather simply to let our kids learn and grow throw the world & their experiences.
