Telling the Truth

I spend a LOT of time in the kitchen.

You can imagine, I make a ton of dishes and, without a dishwasher, I spend almost as much time cleaning up as I spend cooking and eating!

What’s my favorite way to pass the time? I’m so glad you asked :)

Have you heard of Telling the Truth? It is Stuart, Jill, and Pete Briscoe’s online ministry. It offers a variety of fabulous resources, but far-and-away my favorite is their radio broadcast.

Last week, although I was yet again: cooking, cleaning, sweeping, and repeating; I was simultaneously being spiritually washed over with remarkable insight and the power of God’s word as I worked. If you never have, be sure to head on over to their broadcast archives to listen to their brief daily messages. I especially loved the recent two-part series TEACH US TO PRAY (simply scroll down to June 12th 13th and click on the links provided).

It is sure to be an enlightening and enjoyable way to pass the time (plus, they’re British, so it just sounds pretty)!
