Friday Five and FEATURE!

.) Today I am filled with gratitude for the gift of my husband and his life…HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY, ANDY! He is the most wonderful husband, incredible father, and loyal friend. I am continuously inspired by the man he is; he makes me want to be a better wife, mother, and follower of Jesus! I pray he knows just how much we love him and has a wonderful, very happy birthday!

.) I WAS FEATURED over at Cathartic Cuisine! Their blog is made up of an awesome team of contributors with the goal being “To help you learn the joys of cooking. Not from professional chefs who make it look easy, but from average folks who do this for fun.” Be sure to check them out and “like” them on facebook!

.) This morning I devoured and thouroughly enjoyed my first “green” juice. We make smoothies with greens all the time, but I have been dying to dive into the world of  “juicing.” It was made up of apple, celery, kale, spinach, lemon, parsley, and ginger; it was amazing! Is it possible to hear your body screaming, “thank you?”

.) This week I ordered a sample pack of Everyday Minerals makeup. You can select 7, yes, SEVEN different samples of their mineral bases, cheek colors, and the finishing coverage, for $.01 + shipping. I’ve never used mineral make-up; can’t wait to try!

.) Andy and I are heading out on a birthday date tonight; like an actual date (leave the house and both kids for longer than 2 hours in between nursing). I have to get off the computer and get myself and everything else ready!
